Scheibach, 88, of Fond du Lac, died on Monday, April 24, 2017, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.She was born on December 1, 1928, in the town of Forest, the daughter of Walter and Erna Poch Becker. Dorothy was a 1946 graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy, and on September 6, 1947, she married Fredrick "Fritz" W. Scheibach at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in the town of Forest. Fredrick preceded Dorothy in death on October 20, 1984.Dorothy was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac and the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Fleet Farm and Jerry Schuchardt Insurance Company in Fond du Lac. Dorothy loved reading, watching birds, her grand dogs and going up to northern Wisconsin.Survivors include three daughters: Gayle (Jerry) Steffes of Fond du Lac, Jewel (Mike) Tolvstad of Rhinelander and Marci (Wes) Jahns of Lake Tomahawk, a grandson: Paul Tolvstad of Fond du Lac, a sister: Lois Priebe of Fond du Lac, a sister-in-law: Pearl Becker of Fond du Lac, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Donald "Butch" Becker, a baby brother, Robert, a baby sister, Carol, two brothers-in-law, Tom Priebe and Bernard Scheibach and three sisters-in-law, Joyce Asmus, Beverly Schwartz and Esther Margraff.VISITATION: Relatives and friends may call from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, 20 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du Lac.SERVICE: Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Sue Sheffer-Meyer officiating.
