We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dorothy Hughes Stutzman, who was born on November 20, 1978, in Loogootee, Indiana, United States. She left this world on January 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was the beloved daughter of William Browning and Darlene Hughes.

Dorothy leaves behind a loving family, including her three children: Dylan Hughes (spouse Brittany), Andrew Lynn, and Isabella Stutzman. She also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren. Dorothy was a devoted mother and grandmother who always put her family first.

Dorothy attended Bedford North Lawrence High School and graduated in 1997. She continued her studies at Ivy Tech, where she excelled in her academic pursuits.

Outside of her studies, Dorothy had a number of hobbies that brought her joy. She enjoyed reading, creating jewelry, and experimenting with makeup. She had a creative spirit and a passion for all things beautiful.

Dorothy will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and the love she had for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
