Doris Regina Receveur Winnie peacefully slipped away in her sleep on December 13, 2013. She was born on September 17, 1929 on a farm between Debden and Polworth, Saskatchewan, Canada. She married Robert E. Winnie on July 10, 1950 and moved to Everett, WA. Together they had seven sons and four daughters. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Malee; brothers, Murel and Louis; sons, Robert, Jr and Joseph; and one grandson, Jonathan. Doris is survived by four daughters: Ellen Winnie (Ralph Lindberg), Susanne Howard, KathrynMary Kirby (Brad) and Sharon Cline (Jim); five sons: Randall Winn (Kris McCord), Daniel (ShiJie Li), Steven (Sheri), David and Eric; two brothers: Jerry (Doreen) and Terrance (Yevette) Receveur; two sisters-in-law, Beulah and Shirley Receveur; Four granddaughters: Stephanie, Jamie, Ashley, and Caillie; six grandsons: Daniel, Shawn, Michael, Ben, Kristian, Bryan; and one great-grand-daughter: Angelina. Visitation will be at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 15. A Celebration of her Life at 5:00 - 7:00 and a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, Interment at 2:00 p.m. at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to American Diabetic Association or Children's Hospital of Seattle.
