Doris Jones, of Scottsburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 8, 2026. She was born on May 15, 1950, and married her beloved spouse, Vernon Jones, in 1970.

Doris worked at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital and retired in 2008. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her three children: Deborah Flynn, Rodger Jones, and Delores Callahan, as well as seven grandchildren. Doris will be remembered for her kind heart and love for her family.

Rest in peace, Doris. You will be deeply missed.
