We are saddened to announce the passing of Doris Pryor, who brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Doris was born on April 23, 1953, in West Raleigh, North Carolina to Eugene and Diane Richards.

She married the love of her life, Elwood Pryor, in 1972 and together they raised three wonderful children: Christine, Jackson (spouse Sheila), and James (spouse Joyce). Doris adored her two grandchildren, bringing light into their lives without fail.

Doris attended New Kent HS high school, graduating in 1971, before continuing her studies at Johnson C Smith. She worked diligently as a professional cleaner and was dedicated to helping those in need through her work with a Domestic Violence organization.

Outside of work, Doris loved spending time with her grandchildren, Aisja and Kyla. She cherished each moment, creating lasting memories with her family.

Doris will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
