Doris CurtsDoris Curts, 86, of Delphi passed away on August 20, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi where she had resided for the past few years.Doris was born on Feb. 23, 1931 at Thayer, Indiana to the late William and Eva (LaCosse)Clinton.Doris was a graduate of Mount Ayr High School.She married Jerry C. Curts on March 3, 1951 in Frankfort, Indiana and he survives.          Mrs. Curts retired from Globe Valve in Delphi where she worked in the Assembly dept.Doris was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Delphi and Presbyterian Women.She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, serving in the Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Sunday School and as a Church Deacon. She was an avid Purdue fan. She loved watching hummingbirds.Along with her husband, Jerry, she is survived by her children: Dianne Curts of Indianapolis, Marilyn Owens (Dick) of Tipton, Richard "Rick" Curts (Pat) of Delphi, Lynette Small (Arthur) of Fishers; sister, Betty Gearheart and brother, Larry Clinton (Bonnie) both of Frankfort; 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded by a brother Russell Kise and sister, Evelyn Emery.Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi on Thursday, August 24, 2017.
