Doris Pauline Cardwell-Roach passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, she was 91 years old. Service: 2 p.m. Friday, Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at funeral home. Doris Pauline Cook Cardwell-Roach was born on Aug. 10, 1925, to William Wesley and Almarine Mae Cook in Hasse. She worked as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Worth for over 30 years. She volunteered and served on the board of Widowed Persons Services of Tarrant County. She is preceded in death by her daughter Margaret Ann Shiner; husbands, Douglas Allen Cardwell and William Edgar Roach; sisters, Jean McCoy and Fern Mayfield; and her parents. Survivors: She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Carr; grandson, Joshua Martin; granddaughter, Alanna Martin; and many nieces and nephews.
