Dorene Kimble, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and all-around amazing woman, passed away on February 22, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois. She was born on May 7, 1951 to her mother, Orr Matthew, and later married her high school sweetheart, Samuel House, in 1969.

Dorene and Samuel had five beautiful children together: April, Lorene, Angela, Samuel Jr., and Darcy. Dorene was a dedicated mother who poured her heart and soul into raising her children and creating a loving home for her family.

She was a proud graduate of Flower High School and always had a twinkle in her eye when reminiscing about her high school days. Dorene had a vibrant personality, a contagious laugh, and a love for life that was unmatched.

Though she may no longer be with us, Dorene's spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were lucky enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
