Donneta Joan "Jo" Thompson61, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 18, 2017. She was born on January 12, 1956 in Beech Grove, IN to Oscar Jackson Thompson and Gloria Jeanne Thompson.She was known for her spunky personality with a determined mind. Donneta loved to travel and could often be found vacationing on the beach or enjoying the excitement of Las Vegas. She'll be missed by many friends, coworkers, and clients through her inside sales.Survivors include her mother, Gloria Thompson; sisters, Roseanna (Steve) Head and Jacqueline (Brant) Milholland; nephews, Andrew (Lauren) Head and Aaron (Amanda) Head; niece, Allison Milholland; 1 great-nephew and 3 great-nieces.She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Jackson Thompson.Visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
