AUBURN — Donna JoAnne Wise, 86, of Auburn and formerly of Hicksville, Ohio, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at Signature Health Care in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Wise was a 1948 graduate of Hicksville High School. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was born on June 4, 1929, in Hicksville, the daughter of the late James and Dessie (Evans) Cromwell. She is survived by two daughters, Leslie Nelson of Traverse City, Michigan, and Jamie Stout of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Robert, Forrest, Lester, Bud "Waldo," Hud and Elwood; and three sisters, Virginia, Maxine and Mary. A memorial service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville. A private family burial will take place in Forest Home Cemetery.
