Donna Haynes, 67, of Newport News, Virginia, passed on February 08, 2023 a long battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Donna was born on January 12, 1956

It would be wrong to say that Donna lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Donna stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Donna. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.

Donna is survived by her life long partner and wife Lisa and their 4 children, Wray, Timothy, Linda and Joshua. Her grandchildren, Cody, Samantha, Todd, Aster, Hunter, Jenna-Nicole, Joseph, Thomas, JJ, Anna Maria, and Valerie.

Her 4 brothers Tom, Matthew, Terry, and Steven, and their wives, Haley, Victoria, Carrie and Amber.  

Her sisters Cheryl and her partner Fauith and her sister Kathleen and her husband Keifh

She was loved by all of her nieces and nephews, Steven, Maggie, TJ, Alicia, Joseph, Kelly, Chelsee, Maggie, Chloe, Taylor, Kalya, Matthew, Adam, Joshua, Rosie, and Caleb.

Donna did not want a memorial but a celebration of life will be scheduled in the summer.

She wishes her ashes to be scattered in deep woods of Virginia
