DONNA CLAIR STANEK Donna Clair Stanek, age 85, a 16-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz., passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. She was born on August 2, 1931 in Chaska, Minn. Donna was retired and was a member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliary for 65 years. She loved sewing, quilting, crocheting and knitting precious gifts for family and friends. She loved life and welcomed all into her home and heart. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. "She made a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will always be in our hearts". Donna is survived by her husband, Doug Stanek of Ft. Mohave, Ariz.; daughter, Sue (Warren) Simons of Owantonna, Minn.; and five sons, Rod (Connie) Lano of Prior Lake, Minn., Brad (Linda) Lano of Lake Havasu, Ariz., Gary (Teri) Lano of Mound, Minn., Bradley (Paula) Stanek and Charlie (Mary) Stanek both of Coon Rapids, Minn.; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all in Minnesota. There will be a private celebration of life held at a later date.
