Donna A. Burger, 75 of Salinas, passed away Sun. March 13, 2016. Mom was taken from us suddenly by complications from a stroke. A long-time resident of Oak Hills, she will be missed by her family and friends. Donna was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, married her high school sweetheart, Philip Burger, who was in the Air Force. Together during their 57 year marriage they lived in or visited over 30 countries. Mom spent her life taking care of her family; she was room-mother, a Brownie, Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader for her children and remained very active with her grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her husband, Colonel Philip R. Burger, Jr., son Bill Burger (Brenda), daughters Cynthia Staub, Laura Stukbauer (John) and grandchildren Zachary and Lancelot Staub, Kelly and Jason Stukbauer.
