Donell Polite was born July 17, 1948 in Arcola, Mississippi. He was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Polite. He confessed religion at an early age and attended services often; He later moved to Fitchburg, Massachusetts where he lived for many years. He later returned and moved to Greenville, Mississippi with the rest of his family. He had a great sense of humor and a genuine love for people. He was strong willed and courageous throughout his illness until death. He never married and had children. He leaves to cherish his memories; Leaving behind 3 sisters, Mary Porche, Florine Young and Gloria Ganison all of Memphis,Tn; Two brothers Andrew Polite of Houston,Tx and Eugene Polite of Palmetto,Fl. He has a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. His burial will be at Booker Cemetary Riverside Rd, Marks, Mississippi 38645.
