Donald "Don" Darnell, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on January 20, 2025, in Florence, Colorado, just two days shy of his 77th birthday.

Don was born in Woodward, OK on January 22, 1948, to Ike and Mary Darnell. In 1972, he married the love of his life, Willie Darnell, and together they raised four wonderful children: Troy, Misty, Tisha, and Terry.

Don was a proud Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam. He worked at Big Ds Superfoods as a Produce manager until his retirement In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, and watching football and wrestling.

Don will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love for his family, and his kind heart. He is survived by his wife, children, and fifteen grandchildren.

Don will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace.
