We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Donald Gaines, who was born on March 14, 1946, and passed away on November 13, 2024, in Salisbury, Maryland, United States. He was the beloved son of Joseph and Mary Gaines and loving spouse of Angela Hart-Gaines, with whom he shared many happy years of marriage.

Donald was a proud father to his two sons, Eric Gaines and Anthony Gaines. He was also a devoted grandfather to four grandchildren.

Donald dedicated his life to serving his country, as he bravely served in the Army as a Lieutenant. He was a true patriot who exemplified honor and courage throughout his military career.

Outside of his military service, Donald cherished spending quality time with his grandchildren and pursuing his passion for fishing. He found solace and joy in these simple pleasures, surrounded by his loved ones.

Donald Gaines will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of service and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
