Dolores Marie MurphyOn October 27, 2016, Dolores Marie Murphy passed away peacefully in her sleep at her daughter's house in Daly City – rosary beads in hand. The daughter of Joseph Sutherland and Evelyn O'Brien, she was born on July 2, 1928 in San Francisco. She will be greatly missed by her sister Rosemary Valente, her children Elizabeth Hull, Valerie McGrew, Kevin (Melissa) Hull and Brian (Dianne) Hull, her grandchildren Sean (Karen) Hull, Erin (Mark) Geary and Rebecca (Jordan) Couch, and her great grandchildren Sarah, Connor, Brian, Carly, Evelyn, Wesley, Calvin and Joseph; plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her late husbands Harold Mount, Kenneth Hull and John T. Murphy, her grandson, Ian McGrew and son-in-law Garry McGrew. She loved to sing, dance, read, garden, and to create art; but, most of all, she loved her family, her church and her Irish heritage, and, more recently, became a Giants fan. In her last years, her activities were limited but she became a great prayer warrior for family and friends.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 2, 2016, 11:00am at St. James Catholic Church, Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA.
