We are gathered here today to mourn the loss of Dolores Campbell, who shuffled off this mortal coil on January 25, 2026, just four short days after celebrating her 82nd birthday. Dolores was a force to be reckoned with, a woman who always spoke her mind and knew how to liven up any room she entered.
Born on January 21, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, Dolores was the daughter of John and Janice Hall. She leaves behind a legacy that includes four children: Johnny Hall, Tyrese Campbell, Christine Campbell Bell (who is survived by her loving husband, Isaac Bell), and Robert Griffin (who is survived by his adoring wife, Heather Griffin).
In addition to her children, Dolores is also survived by 10 grandchildren, who she loved dearly and spoiled rotten. They will miss her infectious laugh, her incredible cooking, and her unwavering support.
Dolores was known for her sharp wit, her impeccable fashion sense, and her love of a good joke. She never met a pun she didn't like or a prank she didn't want to pull. She had a way of making everyone around her feel special and loved, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
So here's to you, Dolores Campbell. May you rest in peace, surrounded by the laughter and love that you brought into the world. We will never forget your spirit, your kindness, and your unforgettable sense of humor. Funeral and repass will be held at 6712 Marshall Ave., Hammond, IN 46323.
