ELGIN - Dolores E. Schneider, 83, of Elgin, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 in her home. She was born on September 23, 1933 in Bethalto, IL the daughter of Robert & Sarah (Winnegar) Cook. Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Marshall D. Schneider, their children: Gerald "Jerry" Schneider and Ronald (Celia) Schneider; grandchildren: Lauren and Austin; a sister Marjorie Ducommun. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert "Bobby" Polley. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Wait Ross Allanson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel, 51 Center St., Elgin. Burial will be private in Bluff City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning in the chapel from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
