Dilbert Showes was born on April 6, 1951 to Dallas and Alexia Showes.  He was hospitalized at Ebenezer Baptist Church and accepted the faith of Christ.

Dilbert resided in Milford, Ohio during his youth and graduated from Milford High School in 1971. He later served in the U.S.Navy where he achieved a career as an IC electrician and later became employed with KTI Electronic.  Dilbert was honorably discharged in 1992, achieving the rank/grade of E5 level.

Dilbert Showes has many cherished memories of loved ones with his son, Recha Showes; grandsons, Elijah Showes and Dallas DeMarcia; daughter, Maryland Showes; granddaughter, Allison Jones; sisters, Beverly Barnes, Stephanie Logan, Jordien Charrington, Cara-Mia Showes, and Kimberly Showes; brother, Anthony Showes, along with many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
