Dianna Louise Mann Sweany69, passed away on September 29, 2016. Dianna was born on Dec. 30, 1946 in Indianapolis, the daughter of John and Dorothy Mann. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy and Marian College, and received her master's degree in mathematics from Butler University. At Marian, Dianna met her husband, John Sweany. They were married in 1969 and had four children. Dianna worked as a math teacher at St. Joseph's High School in South Bend and Cardinal Ritter High School in Indianapolis before beginning a 20-year career as a guidance counselor at Columbus East High School in Columbus, Ind. She was a parishioner at St. Mark, St. Barnabas, Holy Trinity (Louisville), Our Lady of the Greenwood, and St. Bartholomew.Dianna was preceded in death by her husband, John. She is survived by her husband, Dave Guck; sister, Donna Duhamel; children, Brian (Robin), Jennifer George (Nick), Coleen Fleming (Justin) and John Roy; and her grandchildren, Sophie, Jack, Connor, Arlynn and Maksim.Visitation will be held on Tues., Oct. 4, 2016 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Myers-Reed, 3729 E 25th St, Columbus, Ind. The funeral will follow on Wed., Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Bartholomew, 1306 27th St, Columbus, with visitation there from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
