Diane (Mead) OgdenDiane (Mead) Ogden passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014 in her home in Ellensburg, WA. Diane was born on November 8, 1940 in Sioux City, Iowa, to Louis Neil and Mary Violet (Herman) Mead. She moved with her family to Everett, WA, in 1952 and graduated from Everett High School in 1959. On June 10, 1964 she married Astor McKay Ogden in Mesa, AZ. They lived their married life in Everett, WA. Diane was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed her horses and served as a horse 4-H leader. After her husband passed away in 1995 she moved to Ellensburg, WA, where she has lived with her daughter and family. She was preceded in death by her husband McKay. She is survived by her daughter Mary (Jeff) Call, grand-daughters Justine Call and Marisha (Ryan) Scadden, great-grandson Wyatt Scadden and sister Joyce Braemer. Services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints building on Brick Road. Viewing will begin at 6:00pm followed by a funeral service at 7:00pm. Burial will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00am at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Everett, WA.Arrangements by Brookside Funeral Home & Crematory, Ellensburg.
