Diane Washington, age 69, of Selma, North Carolina, passed away on July 12, 2024. She was born to Marie Antoinette Washington Brown (deceased) on December 26, 1954.

Diane is pre-deceased by her daughter Leigh Washington Mishoe, however, she leaves to mourn, her children Sabrina Washington, Michael Washington, and Samantha Washington Harrison with her spouse Darnell. She also leaves four beautiful grandchildren, Mekiyah, Caleb, Zara, and Eden.

Besides being a Mother and grandmother, Diane was also a little sister to Lionel Washington (deceased) and a big sister to Angela Love, Earline Brown Brailford (deceased), Marie Brown, Melvin Brown, Maybelle Simpson, and Felicia Brown Williams with her husband Jeffrey and a host of nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and friends.

Diane was a dedicated caregiver for mentally challenged adults, always going above and beyond to provide for those in need. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, creating lasting memories with her loved ones.

Unfortunately, Diane passed away after a long illness. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
