Dewitt M. Jackson, 86, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025.
Born on March 7, 1939 in Sanford, FL. Dewitt lived a life defined by service, faith, and family. He proudly served in the United States military from 1959 to 1975, dedicating 16 years of his life to protecting and serving his country. Retiring from the United States post office after 30 years of strong work ethic
Dewitt is survived by his loving wife, Sabrina Jackson; his two sons, Herman Jackson and Tracy Jackson; his daughter, Evaugn Peterson; and his 10 beloved grandchildren. His unwavering commitment to his family and his steadfast faith in God formed the cornerstone of his life.
Those who knew Dewitt will remember his strong work ethic, his deep spiritual foundation, and his unshakable belief that a family united can endure any trial. His legacy will continue to live on through the values he instilled in his children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know him.
Memorial services will be held at August 2nd 2025 at 1pm. 1002 Bimelech Drive Indian Trail, NC 28079 at the family house.
