Dewey Jones, 62, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed on July 03, 2023. Dewey was born on April 24, 1961 to the late Frank Jones Sr. And Lizzie Jones Bradshaw.Dewey attended Grant Elementary and Northside High School. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of El Bether Non-Denominational Church. He worked at Plant Maintenance Service Corp as a Welder.Dewey was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles Football Team.He was united in Holy Matrimony to Shirley Diane Jones in 1982.Dewey Ray Jones departed this world on Monday, July 3, 2023 to be with his heavenly Father.Dewey was preceded in death by two sisters Annie Mae Gant and Jerry Pipkins; Three brothers Eugene Jones, Elton Peete Sr., and Frank Jones Jr. Two sister in laws Shirley Jones, Ramona Jones, and six brothers in law R.L. Gant, Authur Pipkins, Cliff Sanders, Matthew McDaniels, William Anderson and Julius Smith. Dewey leave to cherish his precious memory, his daughter Candice Whitfield (Aaaron ?) of Memphis, TN, four sisters Earline Sanders (Memphis, TN), Johnnie McDaniels and Deborah Anderson (Chicago, IL). D.Alfredia Smith (Memphis, TN), three brothers Maurice Jones Sr, Micheal Jones (Anesta) of Memphis, TN and Larry Jones Sr. (Melinda) Bar Harbor, ME, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
