On April 3, 2024, the world lost a bright light with the passing of Deshanae Bell in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on January 28, 1997, to loving parents, Korey Bell and Isa Powell.

Deshanae, as she was affectionately known to her friends and family, had a passion for writing and drawing from a young age. She poured her heart and soul into her creative pursuits, and her talent shone brightly in everything she created. She also had a deep love for music and was a dedicated member of the school band during her time at Crispus Attucks High School.

Deshanae graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 2015, where she made lasting friendships and touched the hearts of those around her with her kindness and creativity. After graduation, she continued to pursue her artistic passions while working toward her dreams.

Tragically, Deshanae's life was cut short by diabetic shock. Despite the challenges she faced, she never let her condition define her. She faced each obstacle with strength and grace, inspiring those around her with her resilience and positive outlook on life.

Although she did not have children of her own, Deshanae had a profound impact on her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Deshanae Bell may have left this world too soon, but her spirit will forever be a guiding light for those who were lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of calling her a friend.
