We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Derrick Lacey, a beloved husband, father, and friend. Derrick was born on April 27, 1989, in Columbus, Ohio, to Richard Lynn Lacey and Diana Lee Lacey.

Derrick is survived by his loving wife and two children, Derrick Richard Lacey II and Hayden James Lacey. Also survived by his sister Wyonna Lacey (Gray), brothers, Jack Lacey, Johnathan Lacey, Dustin Penwell and Richard Lacey II, He was a devoted family man who cherished spending time with his loved ones.

In addition to his family, Derrick had a passion for drawing and tattooing. He was known for his artistic talent and creativity, which brought joy to those around him.

Tragically, Derrick's life was cut short on October 12, 2025, due to a senseless act of violence. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, let us remember Derrick for the light and laughter he brought into the world. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
