It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Derrick Peavy, born on July 22, 1980, and leaving us on April 29, 2019. Derrick resided in Griffin, Georgia, United States, and was the beloved son of Eddie Peavy Sr. and Brenda Peavy.

Derrick leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through his 8 children: Quintavious, Khalique, Khaliya, Aiyanna, Derrick Jr., Honesty, Christian, and Dillion. His two grandchildren will forever cherish their memories of their fun-loving grandfather.

In his professional life, Derrick was known as an entrepreneur, always striving to create new opportunities for himself and his family. In his free time, he enjoyed pursuing his passion for fashion as a clothing designer and hitting the basketball court for a friendly game or a spirited discussion about sports.

Although Derrick's untimely passing due to lung failure has left a void in our lives, we will always remember him for his warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. May he rest in peace, knowing that his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
