• Derek Raines of Greer, South Carolina, passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 69. He was born on November 8, 1955, to his beloved mother, Gloria Raines.

Derek is survived by his loving daughter, Toiaynne Raines, and two adoring grandchildren. Quamir Sykes, Bilal Bowman . He was known for his passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge with others.

Despite his battle with cancer, Derek always managed to keep a positive attitude and bring joy to those around him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Services will be held Nov 13th 12pm -3 pm at 214 memorial drive Greer sc 29650
