Dequaun Shamel McNeil , 39, passed on April 11, 2021 unexpectedly at a County Hospital . He was born November 13, 1981 In Brooklyn, NY the son of Eric Munden and Vera Mc Neil.

Dequaun graduated from Automotive High School Class of 1998. Following graduation he then went on to pursue his dream of helping people. He loved to volunteer in community centers and the local church.

In addition to his Father, he was predeceased by a Aunt, Karla. Surviving in addition to his mother (Vera), his sister Charisma McNei, His daughter Erica McNei, his son Dequaun Shamel McNeil Jr and his step daughter Ja'Nai Gome-Beverl. His aunts Linda Mculluom, Joyce McNeil, Lisa McCall, Darla McNeil.

A Service of remembrance will be held on Friday April 23rd at Heritage Memorial Chapel, 665 Blake Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11207. Please feel free to take an empty heart off of the thoughts left behind tree and write a heart felt message for Dequaun and his family.
