Oct 09, 1944 - Aug 30, 2024

This obituary is administered by:

Denver Lee Robinson, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024 at University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on October 9, 1944 to Orbin and Kelcie (Spears) Robinson. Denver worked proudly as a United Mine Worker until he retired. In his spare time you would find him playing horseshoe, cornhole, or shooting pool. He loved spending time working on projects on the farm and being with his family and friends who he adored.

Denver is proceeded in death by his father Orbin Robinson; his mother Kelcie (Spears) Robinson; his sister Jean Burke; and his brother Teddy Robinson.

Denver is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Donna (Justice) Robinson; his daughter and son-in-law Cheri and Bryan Beaver; and his daughter Denica Robinson; and his sister Nola Robinson. He is lovingly remembered as being the best pap by his four grandchildren, Mackenzie Pourbaix; Isaiah Robinson; Brooklyn Powell; and Shaelyn Pourbaix. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews who loved their “Uncle D.”

Denver’s wishes were for a private memorial service with immediate family and lots of bluegrass music. His family plans to respect these wishes in the coming weeks.
