Dennis Olsen passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 16, 2026, in the hospital in West Valley City, Utah, United States. He was born on November 7, 1958, to Alma Reid Olsen and Dorothy Faye Danner Olsen.

Dennis is survived by his two beloved children, Dustin Olsen and Danny Olsen, as well as Haylee Hansen, and Michaela Bennett, to which he had always been like a father to. He was a loving grandfather to his three grandchildren, and 5 bonus grandchildren. He was an incredible friend and confidant to Brandee Gallegos and Roy Lehmanowsky, family really, though there is no real label to adaquately describe the relationship.

Dennis had a passion for golf and spent many hours on the golf course pursuing his favorite hobby when he could get away to the golf course. He also had a passion for politics and loved getting in deep debates on topics of current events. He will be remembered for his kind heart and gentle spirit. He touched the lives of many and will never be forgotten.
