Denise Ann Williams , 55, of Savannah, Georgia, passed Tuesday, February 15, 2020. Denise was born to Curtis Coleman , and Albertha Jackson-West , June 9,1965 in Savannah, Georgia. 

Denis graduated from Beach High School in Savannah Ga. She was married to John W. Horton for 30 Years.  Denise was a business owner and Entrepreneur. She was a devoted and loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and grandmother. She enjoyed refurbishing old antique and turning it to beautiful masterpiece.  
Denise is survived by 9 children: Antoinette Dempsey, George Dempsey , Barry Davis , Vernon Davis , April Horton , Kimberly Singleton (Richard Singleton), Jonathan Horton (Angie Horton ), Candace Horton, and Ingrid Horton . She also is survived by 15 grandchildren. Ronald Dempsey (Denise Dempsey) Luis Almonte, Luis Zarate, Javon Dempsey, Anijhea Dempsey, Elmis Dempsey, India Lemon, Octavius, TrenTon, Elise Leggett, Nathaniel Horton, Jonathan J. Horton Princess C. Horton, Julius P. Horton, Nacer Johnson, Andrea Wise, Jade Singleton, Cornelius Singleton, Mike Davis, Barry Davis Jr, Shameka Davis, Micah Horton, Eva Horton and 1 Great great grandson Chayse Dempsey

Denise was preceded in death by her parents Curtis Coleman, Albertha Jackson-West, Brothers Curtis Jackson, Eddie N. Jackson, Albert W. West, Seth W. West, and sister Karen Fuller. She leaves behind to mourn her loss Sisters Grethel (Connie) Kelly, Verdi West-Shelborne, Dorothy (Doster)DuBose, Andrea West-McBride, Carlene (Perry) West-Myers

I awake each morning to start a new day, but the pain of losing you never goes away. I go about the things I have to do and as the hour pass I think again about you. I want to call you and hear your voice then I remember that I have no choice. For you are not there and now my heart cries Just to see you again to tell you goodbye. To say Momma I love you and I always will and hope that much of you in me you've instilled. The day that you left I just didn't know that you were going somewhere I couldn't go. And now all my memories of you are dear but gosh, how I miss you and wish you were here. Who now can hear me when I need to cry? It so hard to tell you " Momma goodbye. Someday I know all will be well and I will see you again with stories to tell of how you were missed and how we have grown and how good it is to finally be home. Until then my memories of you will keep me near and I will pass them on to those who are dear.

A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says      " Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you all. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remember all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about falls I miss you all dearly, so keep up your head up.
