We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Demetrius Wooden, beloved father, and friend. Demetrius was born on December 12, 1986, in Greenville, North Carolina to William E Wooden Sr and Helen M Turnage. He peacefully passed away on September 30, 2025.

Demetrius leaves behind his loving four children, Ker, Dannea, Demetrius (DJ), and Demarion. He also leave behind nine sliding, Laytonya(Aaron,), Michelle, William Jr.(Rachel), Terrence, Sheronda, Sheila, Christy, Christopher, and Brandon. He was a dedicated family man who always put his loved ones first.

Demetrius attended Washington High School and went on to work at TBI, where he made many lifelong friends. He was known for his infectious smile, kind heart, and quick wit.

In his free time, Demetrius loved to sing and always had a song in his heart. He brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Although we grieve his loss, we take comfort in knowing that Demetrius is now at peace. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Demetrius Wooden. Your memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved you.
