It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Demekia Faulkner, who was born on July 1, 1982, in Charlottesville, Virginia, United States. Demekia peacefully left this world on April 23, 2024, after a courageous battle with Stage 4 cancer.

She was the beloved daughter of James A Patterson and Sherry Faulkner. Demekia was a cherished spouse to Richard Graves, whom she married in the year 20. Together, they were blessed with two beautiful children, Ze'carra Graves and Zyra Graves.

Demekia will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering strength. She brought joy and laughter to all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.
