Memphis, Tennessee has lost a bright light with the passing of Demarcus Leflore on December 12, 2024, at the young age of 22. Born on October 10, 2002, Demarcus leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and determination. He was known for his infectious laughter and his unwavering loyalty to his friends. Demarcus had a passion for basketball and was always the first to lend a helping hand to those in need. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Demarcus Savage, born on October 19, 2004, in Memphis, Tennessee. Demarcus, also known as "Savage" to his friends, met his untimely demise on December 12, 2024.

Despite his young age, Demarcus lived a full and vibrant life. He attended Germantown High School, where he excelled academically and graduated in 2023. Known for his sharp wit and infectious laugh, Demarcus was the life of the party wherever he went.

Demarcus is survived by his father Devion Leflore, his mother Lisa Williams, his sisters Amya, DeMya ,his bonus sibling ;Antaurah and Anterio . While he had no children of his own, he had a special bond with his family and friends who will miss his larger-than-life personality.

The family requests that donations be made to the Demarcus Savage Memorial Fund, dedicated to helping other young people in need.

Demarcus's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be dearly missed.
