In Loving Memory of

Delores Parnell Boudreaux

Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” – Matthew 25:23

Delores Parnell Boudreaux was born on June 18, 1949, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Royal and Blanche Parnell in Lutcher, LA. Throughout her life, she exemplified grace, strength, and unwavering faith. On Thursday, July 10, God whispered to his child, and she answered the call home to rest.

A devoted wife to her beloved husband, the late Leslie Boudreaux, Sr. A nurturing and loving mother to the late Lisa Morton, Leslie, and Lyndell Boudreaux.

She lived a life grounded in faith, humility, and service. She accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at King Solomon Baptist Church where she remained a lifelong member. She served on the usher board with a willing heart and a joyful spirit.

Known for her warm smile, comforting presence, and words of wisdom, Delores left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She walked in the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—and her life was a living testimony of God’s grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Royal and Blanche Parnell; Husband, Leslie Boudreaux, Sr.; daughter, Lisa Morton; and siblings, Joann and Royal Parnell, Jr.

She leaves behind a legacy of faith and love to be cherished forever by her family. She is survived by her sons, Leslie (Temika) and Lyndell (Tiffany) Boudreaux; Siblings, Bruce (Kathleen), Raymond (Gloria), Mattie, and Mel (Sandra) Parnell.; Sister-in-law, Mary Louise Clark; Brother-in-law, Ronald Boudreaux, Sr. (Melanie); Grandchildren, Auron, Javonna, Jasmine (Elvis), Darius, Tristan, Braylon, Talen, Jonda, Semaj and Lennox; Great-grandchildren, Cameron, Armon, Cayson, Legend and Arsyn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to the Homegoing Celebration on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 10 a.m. at King Solomon Baptist Church, 2385 N Courseault St., Lutcher, LA 70071. Viewing will be from 8 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at Western Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Bardell’s Mortuary, 3856 LA 44, Mt. Airy, LA 70076. Services entrusted to Bardell’s Mortuary. Information: (504)487-2193.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing she is now resting in eternal peace with her Savior.
