Deloris Ricks, 63, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed on September 18, 2022. Deloris was born on September 01, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Mary Robinson and Walter Jenkins. Delores graduated from Washington high school where she later went to serve in the U.S Army. While serving she met the love of her life her husband Maurice Ricks. Once retired in 1991, she moved to Hampton Virginia where she became a customer service manager at Newport News Inc. Deloris was most known for her infectious laugh, bright smile, and strong mind. She is preceded in death by her mother-Mary Robinson(kansas), sister-Rose Jenkins( kansas), sister-Bobbi Jenkins(kansas), brother Walter jenkins(Mississippi). She leaves to cherish her memories 2 daughters Lorell Collins(Virginia), Myeshia Ricks(virginia), 2 sons Maurice Sirls( virginia), Jul Sterns(virginia) 1 brother Eddie Jenkins, 16 grandchildren and 6 great grand children.
