Delilah McIntyre, 92, of Detroit, Michigan, passed on August 05, 2023. Delilah was born on December 01, 1928. She was the second of a set of twins. She was the baby and only girl of her siblings. She was baptized at the age of 11. Her mother raised her children in church and they all sang as a family during services. She attended grade school in Arkansas and later received her diploma from Highland Park Adult Night School in 1989.

in 1947, she met and married the love of her life, Rev. James McIntyre. They were married for 52 years. Together they had 4 children. One of her many joys was taking care of her family. She loved being a homemaker and her husband was a great provider. She also enjoyed worshipping the Lord, singing in the choir, going to quartet programs and hearing good preaching.

Those remaining to cherish her life are: Daughters Bobbie, Ann and Gail; step daughter Betty. Grandchildren Charles, Monique, Francine, Elaine, Marie, Lorraine, Renee and Ashley. Great grandchildren: Alexandria, Charles Jr., Brian Jr., Shawn Jr., Derrick Jr., Azaan Jr., Coya, Meya and India; God daughter- Dorisa; special nephew Charles; a special friend Christine and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
