Thomas, 62, of Port Huron Twp., passed away on December 14, 2016 in Blue Water Hospice Home.He was born on July 10, 1954 in Port Huron.Delbert was very active with St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Grace Episcopal Church. He also loved to play music for the seniors.He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Thomas; siblings: Geraldine Thomas, Walter Thomas and Bonnie Thomas; Aunt, Mary Houston; nieces and nephews: Dave (Kay) Thomas, Louis, Sabrina and Andrew Hinojosa, Franky and Joshua Samson and great-nieces and nephews: Madison, Niklas and Payton Thomas, Isabella and Eliana Arnold, Katelyn and Myles Hinojosa; lifelong friends: Jim and Lynn Struble; Linda Andrews and Bill and his church families.Delbert was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Thomas; grandmother, Gisella Parr and sister, Deborah Lee Thomas.A Memorial Service will be held December 31, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 1213 6th Street, Port Huron.
