It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Deidrielle (Dee) Evans. Dee was born in California, and raised and attended school in Texas. She later returned to California as an adult, where she resided until late 2020. In December of 2020, she relocated to Austin, Texas to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Mom was a bright light in this world; she will be deeply missed. We will continue shining her light by carrying it with us in our own lives.

Dee is survived by her children, Son Theron Carter (Chanser); Daughter and devoted caretaker, Tanisha Shelvin; Grandchildren StarVonte Shelvin and Starjjil Shelvin; Cousin Joanne Wade.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.

Final arrangements have been made.

Remains have been entrusted to Heart of Texas Cremation and Burial Service.
