Debra Marie SilvaMay 20, 1955 - Jan. 27, 2017TulareDebra Marie Silva, age 61, passed away January 27, 2017 at Tulare Regional Medical Center from complications following a brief illness. Debra was born on May 20, 1955 to Thomas and Elvera Silva of Tulare. Debra attended Oak Valley Elementary School where she graduated Salutatorian. She graduated from Tulare Western High School in 1973 and attended College of the Sequoias. She worked for many years for Baileys Apparel Manufacturing in Visalia and also for San Antonio Orchard Company in Porterville until their closing. Debra loved cats, various animals and especially enjoyed giving her time to family and friends. She took the lead on family reunions, made flower arrangements and decorated cakes for various occasions. She loved making her niece's Halloween costumes and helping with her cheerleading teams.Debra is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ronnie and Richard Silva. She is survived by her sisters; Diane Stoner of Tulare and Barbara Story of Visalia (husband Paul) and her niece, Jennifer Story of Visalia.There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 125 E Pleasant Ave, Tulare, CA at 10:30am on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.
