In Loving Memory of Deborah Jean Moore

Debbie Moore, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on February 8, 1952, Debbie was the daughter of Guy Moomau and Lucille Fix.

Debbie was a loving and committed mother to her four children. She is survived by her son Tony Baker and his wife Melissa Baker, her daughter Patricia Baker, and her son David Moore, Jr. and his wife Lena Moore.

Debbie was also a devoted grandmother to her nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with them, hearing their laughter fill the room, and witnessing their endless curiosity and love.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father Guy Moomau, her mother Lucille Fix, her son Nicholas Moore, her two brothers, Larry and Jerry, and her sister Mary Ann.

In Debbie’s honor, let us celebrate the life she lived and the happiness she spread. May her laughter and love continue to brighten our days, guiding us through life's ups and downs with grace and resilience. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

A memorial will be held at Lee Funeral Home, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on January 13, 2024 from 11am - 1pm to honor and celebrate Deborah's life. Following the memorial services, a repass will be held at Dunkirk Fire Department, 3170 W Ward Road, Dunkirk, MD 20754 from 1pm - 4pm.
