Deborah Ascheman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on May 17, 2025 at her home in Blue Rapids, Kansas. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most with love and wisdom and a caring heart for others.

She was born on January 22, 1954 to William Thomas Hess and Cenia Marie (McGuire) Hess in Moses Lake, WA.

Deborah married Charles Ray Ascheman Sr on May 7th, 1971 and together they raised three children: Charles Ray Ascheman Jr, Cristina Marie Ascheman and Dawn Renia Henderson.

Deborah was known for her love of reading books, crocheting, going to the casino, woodworking and art . She could often be found with a book in hand.

Unfortunately, Deborah's life was cut short due to complications from COPD. Although she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In addition to her spouse Charles Ascheman of Blue Rapids,KS, she is survived by her children Charles Ascheman Jr (April) of Tecumseh, NE, Cristina Ascheman (Christopher) of St Joseph, MO, Dawn Henderson (Clint) of St Joseph, MO, her 2 brothers William Hess(Linda) of Tiptop VA, Donald Hess(Laura) Tiptop, VA, 2 sisters Donna McKinney Princeton, WV, and Doretha Hess Topeka, KS, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren

She was proceeded in death by her parents Cenia and William Hess, her brother Robert"Michael" Hess, her nephew Brian McKinney and his father James McKinney and her grandson Logan Ascheman.

Rest in peace, Deborah Ascheman. You will be dearly missed.
