Keel AshbyShreveport, LA - A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Deborah "Debbie" Ashby, 65, will be held at Memorial Gardens North on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Brother Delbert Terry of Blanchard Church of the Nazarene will be officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, June 26, 2017 at Blanchard Church of the Nazarene at 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Ashby was born on January 15, 1952 in Shreveport, LA to Ernest and Peggy Keel. She was called home on June 23, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. While she loved being an Avon representative for more than 35 years, her real joy was being a loving grandparent. She'll always be "Honey", a devoted wife, caring mother and sister. She was generous, kind and a true friend to all who knew her.Mrs. Ashby was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Keel. Left to cherish her beautiful memories, Debbie leaves behind her mother; Peggy Keel, her beloved husband of 43 years; Bobby D. Ashby, her son; Christopher B. Ashby, her daughter; Lesa Herman and husband Joey, one grandson; Wyatt Herman, brother; Michael Keel and wife Charlotte.The family extends a warm appreciation to her nurses, extended family and friends for all of their love and support.
