Deborah Ann Boyd (Chopnik), age 65, of Harker Heights, Texas, passed away on May 23, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on December 8, 1958, to her parents Bruce Jason Chopnik and Nora Ann Klonowski-Thompson.

Deborah is survived by her husband Thomas Boyd, brother Bruce Chopnik, children Summer Thompson, Franklin Whaples, Tiffany Townsend with spouse Doug Stewart, Matthew Bumpus, Travis Boyd with spouse Summer West, Tyler Jones with spouse Kodie Jones, Zackary Boyd, Kameron and Schyler Lynch, Lilly Boyd, and Carson Swilley-Boyd. Deborah also leaves behind 11 grandchildren.

Deborah was actively involved in the Women of the Moose 2457 organization and served in the Army. Her hobbies included fishing, crocheting, dancing, and going on motorcycle rides.

Deborah will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

A private funeral for the family will take place on July 12, 2024 and a Celebration of Life will take place July 12, 2024 at American Legion Post 573 starting at 1pm and will be open to all her friends and family.
