GARRETT — Debbie "Momo" Alger, age 61, of Garrett passed away on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, at her daughter's home in New Haven. She was born on Aug. 18, 1954 in Washington, D.C., to Richard and Olivia (Hoskins) Donovan. Debbie worked as a claims assistant for K & K Insurance in Fort Wayne for 20 years. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren — they were her world! Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and Nick Rorick of New Haven and Kelly and Cale Riccius of Garret; and six grandchildren, Haylie Alger, Caleb Riccius, Dylan Rorick, Cadence Rorick, Blake Riccius and Addisyn Rorick. Also surviving are, David and Jayne Alger of Ligonier; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeffery and Sandy Donovan of California; a sister, Ginger Donovan of Washington state; a sister-in-law, Jerri-Ann Carlson of Kentucky; a brother-in-law and his wife, Jon and Shawn Alger of Fort Wayne; two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Beth and Bill Walsh of Auburn and Judi and Shannon Burgess of Albion; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Donovan; her mother, Olivia Drees; an infant sister, Mary Donovan; and her mother and father-in-law, Betty and Jerry Alger. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 S. Center St. in Auburn. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday from 10-11 a.m. Brother Bud Owen will officiate.
