We are gathered here today to celebrate the vibrant life of Deandre Wilson, a true Chicago native who brought joy and laughter to all he encountered. Deandre, affectionately known as the Mayor of the Windy City, was born on February 4, 1994, and sadly left us on August 12, 2023.

From the moment Deandre took his first breath, it was clear that he would be destined for greatness. His infectious laugh and boundless energy were just a few of the many qualities that endeared him to all who knew him. Growing up in the lively neighborhoods of Chicago, Deandre embraced the city's spirit and made it his mission to spread happiness wherever he went.

A true lover of deep-dish pizza and the Chicago Cubs, Deandre was a proud ambassador for all things Chicago. He never missed a game and could always be heard cheering on his beloved team, no matter the score. Deandre's enthusiasm was contagious, and it brought a ray of sunshine even on the cloudiest of days.

Deandre was always the life of the party, and his quick wit and sharp sense of humor ensured that laughter was never in short supply. From spontaneous dance-offs to unforgettable karaoke performances, he knew how to create lasting memories that would be cherished by all. Deandre is survived by his wife of 3 years, Melissa Wilson-Wallace, Son Deandre Jr, Sister Amara and Jessica Collier, Brother Matthew Collier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andre Wilson Sr. and Andrea Collier.
