It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deajunea Anderson of Richmond, Virginia. Born on September 22, 1990, Deajunea left this world on September 18, 2024, just a few days shy of her 34th birthday.

Deajunea leaves behind her two beloved children, Javontay Haskins and Demarcus Anderson. She also leaves behind her parents, James Simms and Canona Anderson-Powell.

Deajunea was known for her love of cooking, always whipping up delicious meals for her family and friends to enjoy. She also had a knack for making people laugh with her quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor. Whenever you needed a friend, someone just to talk to or just for comfort she was there. Life with her was never a dull moment. She was blessed to have two amazing boys who's smile will always remind us of her.

Deajunea will be dearly missed by all who knew her, especially her friends from John Marshall High School where she studied.

Rest in peace, Deajunea. We will always remember your infectious laughter and kind heart.
