David Roy EnglandDavid Roy England, of Cottage Grove, died of cancer on November 25, 2016. He was 75 years old. He was born on July 9, 1941 in Cottage Grove to Roy and Edna (Nelson) England. He graduated from Cottage Grove High school, and served four years in the U.S. Navy. David married Marilyn Freeman, and later married Linda Levings on May 23, 2007 in Reno, NV. He worked for 44 years as a Log Scaler for Weyerhaeuser. He enjoyed gardening and golf. He was a member of the Middlefield Men's Club. David is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Kellie (Bill) Gilfillan of Roseville, CA; daughter, April (Scott) Larsen of Cottage Grove; stepdaughter, Catharine Cichy of Tigard, OR; stepson, Brad Taylor of Cottage Grove; stepdaughter, Wendy (Cody) Hitt of Cottage Grove; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
